Was watching CNN last night (7/21/08 at 5:45) and heard T. Boone speaks. Even though he tags himself as on oil man, this energy crisis is not something we can “drill” ourselves out of. All of his infomercials are by him, though hoping it will trickle back to him. . His plan is not only wind, but focuses on natural gas. Just in the US there is about 75 years of natural gas supply.
Currently the US is importing over 70% of the oil we need, thus creating a huge wealth transfer to 3rd world countries Boone thinks it will be 80% in the ten years. He would like to see a huge sift in the transportation to move to natural gas. He estimates a savings of 38% savings on imported oil. Keep your “ears up” for what Boone has to say.
Tomorrow we will look at what Jim Cramer, (Boo Yah), pointed out a couple of nights ago that has to do with wind.
